I am Mikey Void
Hi everyone. Mikey Void here. Host of Arcadia's only industrial music show known as The Void. I've been a dj for many years now but I've also wanted to do political talk as well as movie reviews. This blog is my chance to do that. I think of it as a love letter to shows such as The Young Turks, X Play and of course Siskel And Ebert. a delightful mix of news, reviews and of course thoughtful and intelligent discussion. I am honored to be working with Iyde Sakuro who has a very unique outlet on life. Her thoughts on The Notebook were some of the most unique I've ever heard, and many of our discussions have been so much fun and insightful that we just had to share them with you all. We hope you'll enjoy our different perspectives and maybe you'll even discover a point of view you weren't aware of. We'd also would love to hear from you guys. You're part of the discussion. Think of this as our conversational hangout. Come join us. We gotta seat saved just for you-Mikey Void
Quick Intro
This is Iyde Sakuro and Mikey Void coming to you from Arcadia, Fl. This is just a quick introduction (as the title says) just to introduce us. Mikey and I will try to make this a weekly thing. We will be reviewing movies, books, music, anime, politics and celebrity lives.
Why you ask? Because we both have different views on things and we believe it will interesting to hear two sides of every story.
We will be doing this show in two ways. One as a video podcast and the same as an mp3 for those of you on the go.
No money is being made from this. This is simple an idea that hit me after watching a TV show and after watching The Notebook last night (1/7/2012) and had many questions about our very own history. Plus Mikey and I were talking about the presidential race and, through a friend of mine, we found a band that worked well for mine and Mikey's taste buds in music.
The first video/mp3 will be up as soon as we can get everything set up. So far this has just become an idea and is still in the beginning stages of setting up.
